Makayla
Makayla is not only an avid reader but is also a dancer and apprentice at her dance studio. She has had the opportunity to preform at Disney World and appear at many local events such as basketball games, pageants and The Spring Fling and she has competed at many regional competitions. She loves to read and occasionally paint. Her favorite authors are Cassandra Clare, Kiera Cass, John Green, and Ransom Riggs. Makayla enjoys reading many genres but her favorite are contemporaries and fantasy, with her favorite series being The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare and favorite stand alone being Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli or I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. Her favorite event of the year is to attend Y'all Fest with Tyler. Y'all Fest is an annual book festival in Charleston, South Carolina where you can meet your favorite authors and hang out with other book lovers!
